We are almost at the time limit!
Mr. Nakao of "nanamica" caught a 26 cm fish using a snake caro. He often comes to Lake Sagami, but he had never been to this lake before, so he had a hard time catching fish.
Nakao: It was raining a little in the morning, so I mainly used buzz baits and crank rolls, but it was tough, so I went to free-rigs and heavy caros. I'm glad they finally bit, but I wanted a little more size.
Mr. Shimazawa, a graphic designer who was also on the boat, was also throwing mainly Makimono, aiming for a reversal.
Shimazawa:There were reports of fish being caught on the magnum crank I was throwing, so I should have a good chance. I have only participated in tournaments among my friends, but "Bakumon" is a fun tournament where people from all walks of life gather, and even inexperienced anglers feel free to participate.
ASITON, who enjoys offshore fishing for Spanish mackerel, fishing for sea bass in the Edogawa River, and ocean fishing, has not been bass fishing for a very long time, and has only fished a handful of times. It was also the first time for him to ride a boat on a lake.
ASITON:I don't know if it's a bass or another fish, but I do get bites. It is difficult to cast to a pinpoint, but if I can drop it well, I feel like I have already caught it (laughs). It's different from other types of fishing. It is also refreshing to steer the boat and visit the points by ourselves.
This was the fourth time for Sakamoto, who runs the "instantbootlegstore," to fish for bass. He had only fished at managed fishing grounds, but this day he caught a nature bass.
Sakamoto:It's great to be able to fish in Lake Sagami, which is said to be tough. I'm going to be hooked. I've only ever fished by land, and it's nice to have a boat that I can move around to many points where I'm sure I'll be able to find them.
Unable to forget the feeling of this one fish, Mr. Sakamoto later bought two rods.
Time was up with one fish by Mr. Kuga and two by Mr. Yasuga of Timco.
