Style05_Rintaro Miura A pair made to fit Japanese feet."
Rintaro Miura, who works for a company as a buyer for an apparel brand, is an advanced fashionista who easily incorporates the tied-up style into his daily wear. For Mr. Miura, who prefers traditional fashion, leather shoes are an indispensable item. We asked him to explain the appeal of HARUTA's loafers through the aesthetic eye he has cultivated as a buyer while inspecting items from domestic and international brands.
Leather shoes are a familiar item for you, aren't they?
Miura:I have about 10 pairs. I wear them often for both work and private life. I have fond memories of "HARUTA" shoes, as I used to work at a specialty store that did special orders every year.
It is so useful as a fashion item that even select apparel stores carry it.
Miura:I feel that this has been especially true in recent years. I thought the updated "No. LX906" had a nice, elegant sheen. Perhaps it is because natural materials are used, but it is nice to feel the original texture of leather.
What else did you feel when you tried them on?
Miura:I thought this pair was made to fit Japanese people's feet. The inside of the shoe is wide and the width is well taken care of. In addition, the heel of foreign-made shoes is large, making it difficult to walk in them, but I don't have to worry about that. I don't feel any discomfort at all when I first put them on.
They are not only comfortable on your feet, but they also suit your styling this time. What is your special point in coordinating this time?
Miura:Loafers tend to give a light impression, so I was careful not to give a spring/summer impression. For example, I chose a shirt close to my skin color and flannel pants to give a sense of the season. I think a denim jacket would go better with these shoes than a tailored jacket.
The leather is massive and the sneakers have an intimacy, both of which are well-balanced. Lastly, from a buyer's point of view, what do you think is the most attractive feature of this model?
Miura:It's a place where you don't have to choose your style. I think they are a good item to match not only formal fashion but also relaxing fashion. On the other hand, if someone who does not usually wear leather shoes wears them, they will look more fashionable.
The appeal of "HARUTA" as seen from the viewpoints of people with a variety of styles. HARUTA's basic appearance that can be accepted by everyone, high quality craftsmanship, and a sense of style that fits with the times. Perhaps this high level of sensitivity is the reason why they will always be loved by men and women of all ages.
