Although we were excited by Ishii's 48 cm fish in the morning, he never shook after that. It was not that there were no bass. But they were not biting. You have to ask the bass to find out why. If I use the same lure at the same point on the next day, I might catch a big one.
Hiramoto: Of course it would have been better if we had caught more fish, but we all did the best we could, so I guess it couldn't be helped. It was simply a lot of fun to go to Lake Biwa together and do the same fishing. Especially on the second day, we didn't throw a single reel. That was very fresh and I think it will be useful for my bass fishing in the future.
Saisu: It was a time when bass were not motivated. I realized once again that bass fishing is interesting because it is not easy. I really went all out. Lake Biwa is fun because you can expect the size of the fish.
Ichikawa: I really enjoyed the two days. I was able to think about things like lure selection and rig adjustments, and it was fun to fish while relaxing and talking about things like this and that. When you spend such a fulfilling time, it doesn't matter how you catch fish. That's just an excuse (laughs).
Ishii: Anyway, I had a goal of catching a big one this time in Lake Biwa, so I think I personally got a good score. If I had wanted to, I would have caught a 50-plus fish. But I was happy to catch it with the worm I was aiming for. I would like to come back to Lake Biwa on a regular basis.
Ikemoto: Every time I came to Lake Biwa, I always caught fish, but this time I was baptized that I am not so naive. It felt great to be here in spring for the first time. Also, I was deeply impressed by the fact that we were able to communicate with each other while fishing, learning many things and exchanging information, and being in the great outdoors.
Komatsu: It's a pity if you only look at the fishing results, but there is still a lot of romance in Lake Biwa, so I was really excited to drop by a fishing tackle shop after work to get ready and spend time together going to "Anglers Moriyama" to discuss things with the others. I know I say this every time, but I want to revisit this event again!
