Somehow, I managed to get another one ......!
We moved to the intake tower, which is surrounded by hard bottom.
Ichikawa: A point that looks good. There seem to be bass before spawning, so I throw a reel of minnows or crankbaits.
We circled around and tried to fish at different ranges, but the response was not good here either. Giving up gracefully, we change the point. We decided to go back to the spot where Ishii fished.
Saisu: I knew this is the place to fish. I threw a crank for a bit, but got no response. I think I'll throw out a worm free-rig.
Mr. Hiramoto is also free-rigging a worm. Normally, he would have opted for crankbaits or big baits, but here he was searching the bottom in an attempt to catch one fish.
Ishii, who had just fished here, tried to catch more fish.
Ishii: I was feeling pretty good about the fish earlier, so I thought I might be able to catch another one. I'm using the "Cover Scat" and the "Drive Claw." I kind of like the atmosphere.
Komatsu: Earlier I was using a 4" worm, but I reduced it to 3". I hope this will get a reaction.
However, time has passed since Ishii caught his fish, and he no longer responds as he did earlier. I realized that I did not have much time left. We headed for the next point.
Here we try to shoot at cover, aiming at the shoreline. Drop the lure on the pinpoint.
Ichikawa: I had a clear bite near a tree in shallow water, but maybe the worm was a little too big. It was a lack of skill. It was the first close call of the day.
Ikemoto: I like to shoot cover. I drop it where I want it and if the bass are there, they will eat it. It's fun to be able to cast more and more accurately.
Komatsu: I'm not good at casting, but the moment I land on the water as I aim, I think I might be able to catch a fish! It's fun to think that I might be able to catch a fish the moment it lands on the water as I aim for it. Mr. Ichikawa taught me some tips, and I feel like I have improved.
Saisu: While throwing a free-rig, I tried throwing a swimbait. I got no response at all.
Everyone shoots at cover as if they were knocking 1,000 lines, but unfortunately, the result is not ....... And so the second day came to an end.
