Who caught the big bass?
Ichikawa started out with minnows, chatterbaits and spinnerbaits rolled up. He rotates lures frequently and explores the situation. But the water is so shallow that they get stuck on the bottom, and there is no response. Next, he put a big worm on a rubber jig and tried dragging it along the bottom.
Ichikawa: I was winding slowly when I got a bite. It didn't land on the hook, though. I'm going to try changing the silhouette of the worm, such as long and thin or flat.
Ishii uses spinnerbaits, vibrations, and other reeled baits like Ichikawa. However, there seemed to be no response here either.
Ishii: The last time I was here, the fish were not big, but I caught a few, so I wanted to put the size aside and catch a few this time. At any rate, I wanted to touch the fish, so I ended up using a solid cat rig as usual. ......
Relying on the previous results, Ikemoto also tried setting up a cat-rig with a straight worm and throwing a "Bull Flat" by "Deps. Ikemoto also tried setting up a cat-rig with a straight worm and throwing a Depth "Bull Flat," relying on the previous results.
Hiramoto-san, on the other hand, is a lure choice that doesn't wear everyone else's. He is fishing strong as usual, using big baits and feathers.
Hiramoto: Depending on how the spawning progresses, I might be able to catch it. If someone catches a fish, it's the right one, so I'll shift to that type of fishing, and if I'm right, everyone else can go to reeling fishing or something.
A few people have tasted a fish here and there, but they are not easy to catch. Time just flies by, but the spring-like temperatures and unseasonal cherry blossoms create a chill in the air.
Ichikawa: It's kind of a nice feeling. We all fish side by side, feeling the seasons by the temperature and water temperature, and the scenery that you can't see unless you are an angler. It doesn't matter if you catch a fish or not.
It was getting to be a good time and we decided to move on to another point. On the way back to the car, we saw a magnificent bus!
It was not us who caught the fish, but a local who was fishing from land. According to him, this is where he usually catches fish this time of the year. He said he was satisfied with this one fish and was going home, so we extended the fishing a little bit. The tension rose as we saw a big bass, and the chill atmosphere changed completely.
I threw for a while, but the result was ....... We quietly head to the next spot.
