岡嶋：「1976年に誕生した『プロレザー』の50周年を記念した、日本製の別注モデルです。デザインソースはMA-1。アッパーにはオリーブカラーのガラスレザーを使い、MA-1特有の光沢感を表現しています。裏地をイメージしたオレンジや、赤いフライトタグを思わせるシュータンの差し色もポイント。日本製だけあってレザーの質感もいいですし、履き込んで自分なりの表情に育ててほしい一足です」
