Fuinam: Looking back on it now, it’s clear that the color “Clear Jade” has been used across a variety of categories.
Kojima: That's right. I think this is the first model in a long time that really ties into the Clear Jade storyline.
Okajima: I think people of my generation are about the only ones who just barely remember “the heyday of Clear Jade” firsthand. To today’s teens and people in their early 20s, it probably seems quite fresh.
Fuinam: It's true that there are a lot of sneakers in subdued colors like black and gray these days.
Kojima: When you think of sneakers as part of an outfit, you tend to gravitate toward colors that are easy to match. But isn’t it okay to let your feet stand out a little? I feel like sneakers back in the day had more of that playful spirit.
Okajima: The “Air Jordan 12 Retro ”Clear Jade’” is definitely a pair where the shoes take center stage. For those familiar with past Jade releases, it’s a must-have for their collection, while it looks fresh to younger generations who aren’t familiar with them. That’s what I find interesting about it.
Fuinam: Looking back at the history of Clear Jade, this “Air Jordan 12” seems even more interesting.
