. It is rewarding to be able to freely try out ideas that have never been tried before.PROFILE

After working in a number of select stores, he became the creative director of Ciao Panic in 2018. He creates new trends based on his own extensive experience and data read from market trends. . He is in charge of the overall direction of this special order.
. First of all, how did you come to deal in "Big Macs"?
Last year, as the creative director of "Ciao Panic," I started rebranding the products, and at that time, I received a proposal from the men's buyer that he wanted to carry "Big Mac. I wanted to create a strong point for "Ciao Panic" as a store, and I was thinking that it was necessary to have a concept of American traditional and heavy duty, for example, so I said, "Well, let's try it.
Q: What did you think of the new "Big Mac" items?
While there are parts that have an old-fashioned "Big Mac" feel to them, I like that they have been rearranged for a modern fit and design, so they don't come off as drab or dowdy. Since it is originally a work brand, it is natural that there are some earthy parts, and I think there are many people who like that. However, we felt that if we were going to handle this brand, we needed to dilute that part of the brand.

A: So this special-order collection is a reflection of that.
That's right. Therefore, we have positioned the special-order collection as a "black label" collection, and have changed the name tags, pith names, buttons, and other accessory parts that are used as points of reference in the in-line collection to all black. This gives the collection a modern look.
The atmosphere changes suddenly. The setup is also "out of character" in a good way.
. For the jacket, we were conscious of the part of the jacket that looks like a suit as an extension of the coveralls, but can also be worn loosely. The pants make use of the original design. The fabric is made of Solotex®, a functional material. The fabric is made of Solotex®, a functional material, which differentiates it from coveralls, while at the same time giving it the feel of a suit. Similarly, the coats and overalls also incorporate a streetwise feel.

I was surprised at how much freedom you have to arrange things.
The brand is very flexible, and I can try various ideas, so it's very rewarding. CiaoPanic is building a lineup of both men's and women's wear based on the theme of "items that can be traced back to their origins," and the newly reborn "Big Mac" is a great match for this theme. The new "Big Mac" is a great match.
