What enriches our daily lives is the luxury of time.
First of all, what does a "lifestyle in one's thirties with good taste" look like to you?
Kobayashi:People who lead a particular lifestyle are attractive. For example, instead of sleeping in until the last minute in the morning, they wake up a little earlier and spend time relaxing while making coffee. Taking care of the space you live in and the things you take into your body enriches your life.
What was your 30s like?
Kobayashi:I started my own business as a stylist at the age of 28 and worked feverishly in my early 30s. It was a daily occurrence for me to work on coordination until dawn, and I had no time to live a careful life. If I was invited by a senior colleague, I would go out for a drink even late at night to network, and then go straight to the shoot. My work switch was on all day long. As a result, I became chronically fatigued and lost the balance between my mind and body, and when I was 35 years old, I had a physical breakdown. This led me to reevaluate my work and daily life.
I imagine you must have been anxious about making a change in your life during this busy time. Please tell us what you reviewed.
Kobayashi:I shifted my lifestyle from night to morning. It may seem difficult, but the most important thing was to get my body in shape, and it is surprisingly easy to do if you want to do it. Now I naturally fall asleep around 10:00 p.m. and wake up after 5:00 a.m. I have fewer opportunities to go out for drinks. I naturally have fewer opportunities to go out for a drink.
The best thing about this lifestyle is that I get to spend more time with my family. I can relax by having dinner with my wife and spending time with my cat. Thanks to this, my physical condition has calmed down and I am able to work hard.
The scent switches on and off.
You actually used Raptor's "Grooming Body Wash" this time. How was it to use?
Kobayashi:My first impression is that it is easy to use. It has a rich texture like a facial cleansing foam, and it feels refreshing yet moisturizing. The fragrance is fresh and natural. The light scent is just right for men, and I think it is universally accepted. It is also an advantage for fragrance wearers that the scent does not interfere with their fragrance. By the way, my wife also used it and liked it (laugh).
It is difficult at first for men to use scented items, isn't it?
Kobayashi:But things have changed recently. I usually put essential oils in my bath or burn candles before going to sleep. I also use essential oils during these times of relaxation, and when my mind is occupied with work, I use a roll-on oil to refresh myself. I also put essential oils for drinking in my tea in the morning. I have several kinds of essential oils, such as mint and cumin, and the taste and aroma can be very different depending on what I put in my tea, so I choose the one that suits my mood that day.
I see that it has become an indispensable part of your lifestyle. Was there a point in time when you started incorporating fragrance into your life?
Kobayashi:It's a smell treatment and a relaxing effect. I use it for these two purposes. I started using it as a care for aging odor when I was in my mid-30s. When I was younger, I was not conscious of my own smell at all, but my wife told me that I was an old man, and I thought it would be good manners for me to take care of my smell since I work with people of all genders.
I started using it for relaxation purposes after I got sick. I heard people say that the smell of coffee wakes them up, or the smell of soap turns them off when they wash their hands after coming home. I began to consciously use it myself to help me feel better.
Do you have any other habits that you adopt to keep your mind and body in shape?
Kobayashi:I go to an enzyme bath once a week to detoxify my body and boost my metabolism. I can't imagine my life without it now, as it makes me sweat and relax to an astonishing degree. My body is not the same as it was in the past, so I take care of my own maintenance in order to improve my work performance.
Lastly, what do you think one should do in one's thirties?
Kobayashi:Anyway, you have to work with conviction. And while grueling, "imagine yourself in 5 and 10 years". I think that will make a big difference in your time in your 40s. Both in work and in life. I think doing so will change the way you see things, along with your experience and confidence.
In addition to body wash, Raptor also offers hair wash and skin lotion. The hair wash and body wash contain microencapsulated silver ions and persimmon tannin to prevent the formation of middle fatty odor in people in their thirties and older. The masculine, not-too-sweet fragrances include bright musk and spicy floral. The skin lotion containing arch choke leaf extract, saxifrage extract, and sodium hyaluronate prevents not only dry skin caused by shaving and lack of care, but also flakiness and sagging. The bitter citrus scent and refreshing feeling is pleasant.
