Born in Fukui Prefecture and raised in Tokyo, Japan, she started a three-piece girls' band called "The Wisely Brothers" with her high school classmates in 2010 and played the guitar and vocals. In 2018, he made his major label debut with the album "YAK" released from Nippon Columbia. . A movie buff, he also writes a column in addition to his musical activities.

I see that you use a tote bag for your band activities.
Yes . When bands practice or go to gigs, they often leave their bags in the corner of the studio or on top of the amps, so they inevitably get dirty. On the other hand, a tote bag can be washed easily, and if it is brightly colored, it is easy to find where it is after a performance, so it is very useful.
You brought several tote bags with you today, do you use other shapes?
. I tried to find a variety of bags in different shapes, but in the end I came back to the tote bag. So I choose a bag while enjoying "how to enjoy a bag within the constraints of a tote bag.

Recently, I have been using a green round tote bag. It is made by Tomotonanako, a bag artist. Isn't it unusual to see a round tote bag? When I first saw it, I had a strange impression. Tote bags tend to look cheap, but this one has a stylish and sophisticated image, and I like using it.
What about the red ones?
The red tote bag was included with the special advance tickets when "Three Films to Know Agnes Varda Better" was screened. It is very rare to find a tote bag in bright red color. I think the body is made by an overseas manufacturer , but I like the color and the illustration and use it.
Another point is the graphical design.
The beige tote bag is a booklet that my father, a graphic designer, produced when he held a solo exhibition, and I wonder if it is a merchandising thing. I used to be embarrassed to use something my father designed, but recently I've become okay with it (laughs). This one I got one day , and I like it because it's cute.
How about the guitar case?
. This is the case I usually use when I go to the studio. When I travel by train or on foot, I use a lightweight case, but when I go far away or on tour, I replace it with a hard case. The key chain is one I found at a solo exhibition of my favorite illustrator, Tatehiro Ide. It is also very cute!
Compared to the tote bag, the color and design are very simple.
Indeed, I often choose tote bags with eccentric colors for the body. I especially like those from foreign manufacturers that have vivid color schemes not found in Japan, and I often visit events where such tote bags are likely to be available.
