Fukuyama:It's been quite a while, hasn't it?
Se Valley:As I recall, we have been doing special orders since about 2014. We have changed the packaging of pack t-shirts, assorted combinations of white and black, white and navy, pocket t-shirts, and so on. There were also different models of border T-shirts and boxer shorts.
This year marks the 120th anniversary of the company's founding in 1901. What kind of customers respond?
Fukuyama:They range from young adults to adults. We are often asked by customers who have purchased our products where we sell them. Everyone has worn a "Haynes" pack T before, right?
I think the long history of Haynes gives us a sense of security in knowing that we can count on the "same old" products. Do you two have any particular preferences for "Haines"?
Fukuyama:Size XL if worn alone in summer; true to size if worn as an inner layer. I wear it all the time.
Se Valley:I wear it almost every day too. I really wear it 360 days a year. I wear a white T as an inner layer all year round, and that is . Today I'm wearing navy as outerwear. I wanted a plain navy T this spring and summer.
Please tell us more about the key points of today's coordination!
Se Valley:I was thinking of wearing a navy T-shirt from "Haines" as my main piece, so I put on a chambray shirt and combined it with blue tones. I accented it with a scarf from Hermes. Ships is a select store that specializes in American and French styles, so I coordinated my outfit with my current mood while keeping that in mind.
The overall impression is refreshing.
Se Valley:The navy ties the total together. I like plain navy T-shirts because they look chic. I prefer dark blue that is not too bright. （When (industrial designer) Dieter Rams wore a plain navy T-shirt, I thought it looked really cool, and I started wearing it.
What about Fukuyama-san?
Fukuyama:I tend to wear navy and black, so I chose a white T for an inner layer to give a sense of comfort. Pack T-shirts from "Haynes" can be used without hesitation, and I have a habit of buying them over and over again.
Se Valley:To be honest, I have many white T-shirts from other brands, but I wear "Haynes" every day. I also wear it alone, and sometimes I wear another T-shirt over it. By the way, I'm wearing white under my navy today, so I'm wearing two layers of "Haines".
Fukuyama:It is comfortable and thick enough to be worn alone or layered.
So, are there any places you would like to go wearing "Haines"?
Se Valley:For the first time in a long time, I want to go out on the town with a purpose. It could be shopping, it could be a park, it could be a bookstore for that matter.
Fukuyama:I like to go to hot springs. I like to relax after a hot spring bath, and the comfortable Haines is just right for that. Since it is a two-pack, I can wear one on the way there and the other on the way back after taking a bath.
