Blundstone was founded more than 150 years ago on the Australian island of Tasmania. The shoes favored by workers and outdoorsmen in harsh natural environments are now accepted as a fashion item in the city. This may be because of their easy-to-match designs and variations that allow you to project your own personality. For this issue, we asked five people active in various fields to wear shoes of different designs. Some had been wearing the shoes for some time, while others were wearing them for the first time. We asked them to speak frankly about the appeal of "Brand Stone" from their personal perspectives.

I heard that you usually wear sneakers.

They are really all sneakers. This is the first time I've had the chance to wear "Brand Stone" sneakers, and they are really nice. I thought they might be a little different from my style because of their outdoorsy image, but they fit me perfectly. Above all, the shape is beautiful. The square toe gives a beautiful impression, and in a good way, there is a gap with my coordination, which I like.

Do you choose to wear sneakers even on a rainy day like today?

. yes, I do. I especially like classic sneakers, so they are not waterproof , but I don't really mind getting them wet. These boots are leather and classic, but if they are relatively water resistant, they will be great for rainy days to come.

You are a shoe wearer, aren't you?

I love sneakers, but I don't try to wear them clean. Rather, I think they look cool when they are dirty. . These boots also look cool when they are dirty and scratched up, and look ragged. But I'm also worried that it would be nice to wear them clean as they are.

Do you usually wear boots?

I actually got a pair of voluminous boots a while back, but I feel like I look like a gorilla American casual guy when I wear them, so they don't quite fit right yet. I wanted a boot with a little more gap, and these are great. I was able to wear them without a hitch.

How do you usually coordinate your shoes?

. I like shoes very much, so I choose my outfits from the feet up. I choose shoes, pants, tops, and outerwear in that order. I don't think in terms of matching my outfit to the place I am going, but rather I choose the shoes I want to wear and dress as I usually do. Even when everyone else around me was wearing high-tech clothes, I would wear my usual clothes: a jacket and low-tech sneakers. . I'm a navel-gazer, so I think of outfits that I wouldn't dare to wear, but basically, I like a classic look.

What kind of coordinates would you like to match this square-toe "Brand Stone" with in the future?

. I have only denim pants in different colors and shapes, so I think I'll be wearing a lot of denim. Today's denim is from a French brand called "Lia," and I thought it would be nice to wear the pants like this, without the hems piling up. A select store I often visit is celebrating its 4th anniversary and has released coated black denim that looks like leather pants, and I would like to wear them with these boots because they have a similar luster.
