Takahashi Lamda's Delivery Styling for HOUYHNHNM's. Vol.3 Sand Suede Shoes Part 2

Three friends who are the same age and have been friends for more than 20 years gathered again for a talk session under the theme of "sand beige suede. Following the first part in which Ms. Fujii, designer of "Non-Native," and Mr. Doidi, who leads the PR department of "BEAMS" and the new company "BEAT," introduced their favorite personal items, the second part finally focuses on Ms. Lambda's personal items! We went to ......, but as expected, the conversation went off on a tangent! But even that is full of hints and ideas, and those who have seen the same era as them can relate to them, while youths who don't know about that time will discover something new. They are all going in completely different directions. But that's why they are so good. The second half of this free-form trilogy, which is like a tuft of suede with a hint of ageing, is now available!

Doidi:Lambda matches with white loose socks, right? Does Takayuki have his own rules about what socks to wear with beige?

Lambda:I don't get the impression that you wear visible socks, though.

Fujii:If it's leather shoes, I think socks should not be visible. If it's sneakers, I would go for a white color like this.

Doidi:White socks have become so common in the last few years. Didn't it used to be that only a few people wore them?

Lambda:I've never worn anything but white socks (laughs).

Doidi:White sneakers and white socks used to look like students. Like wearing the school run.

Fujii:Like your father in the old days.

Lambda:(laughs). Speaking of which, I stretch my socks a lot before putting them on. To make them loose socks. You see this excess? They are ribbed, but they don't fit. I wear them like this, like Ritsuko Tanaka.

Fujii:It's like "Easy Smith" (laughs). If it grows, it won't come back.

Lambda:I don't go back (laughs). In the evening, I become a cheater.

Doidi:On the other hand, wouldn't it be more popular if you started up a brand of short loose socks or something?

Fujii:But back then, there were sock stoppers, right?

Lambda:Sock touch. I have one too, actually.

Doidi:Is it still there?

Lambda:Yes, there is. When I use SOCK TOUCH, it stops like a rubber lining. It doesn't fall off. I didn't think you'd go so far as to talk about sock touch (laughs).

Doidi:Takayuki doesn't wear socks with sandals, does he? I don't have an image of him.

Fujii:I don't wear them.' I did in the early 90's because it was popular. Like tie-dye socks with tee shirts. Even though it was winter. It was cold.

Lambda:I didn't go that way much. Sandals might be a weakness.

Fujii:You can see, you know, the size of my feet (laughs).

Doidi:(Laughs). But the socks are interesting.

Lambda:Would you make it? Socks.

Doidi:If it were socks, it would be Nara. Mostly if you go by national market share.

Fujii:Yes, we make ours in Nara. We make ours in Nara, too. Knit-like socks. I think it's more of a mix than these (loose socks).
