Matsuya" of a large bath and room and food to savor the comfort.
If the hotel's original, one-stroke note is an indication of the hotel's software, let me also introduce you to its facilities, which are the hardware for a pleasant stay.

The "HIYORI NO YU" bathhouse features a granite bath filled with pure underground water and a half-open-air bath surrounded by a stone garden. The indirect lighting, which creates a sense of quality, allows you to relax in a spacious atmosphere. The depth of the bathtub has been carefully calculated.

A wide variety of rooms are available, from luxurious suites to standard rooms for individuals. Incidentally, even the smallest, the HIYORI Moderate Double, is more than enough space for one person. The jet-black tatami mats common to all rooms are Ryukyu tatami mats, which give the rooms a crisp, tight look.

The patisserie "Matsuya -MATSUNARI-" on the lobby floor is another place you should definitely stop by. In addition to tasty and beautifully presented sweets, you can also enjoy coffee and other beverages, as well as alcoholic beverages at the bar counter (please check with the hotel regarding the availability of alcoholic beverages).
Matsuya's patissier, who says this is his first time opening a store in Kyoto, has also studied abroad and creates confections that flexibly incorporate different expressions, techniques, and approaches to combining ingredients from Western and Japanese confectionaries.

The highlight of our visit was the shaved ice. The matcha jelly was sandwiched between two layers of ice, one with flavors that do not melt easily and the other fluffy ice that melted perfectly in the mouth, providing a delicious surprise with each digging with a spoon. In addition to baked goods and bread, the menu also includes sandwiches and quiches that showcase the pastry chef's originality.
