The reverse weave ®︎ that you are wearing is a reissue of a type that was manufactured in the late 1970s, which is commonly known as a "single color tag".
The tag is in a single color, blue, and is commonly referred to as "blue only." Around this time, the silhouette changes to a more relaxed one, similar to the tricot tags of the 1981-90s. The model worn this time is a good reproduction of the same atmosphere.

Yale University's reverse weave ®︎ = Mr. Fujiwara.
. I simply bought them because I liked them. In fact, I think it is the most popular college print now. The market price is usually over 200,000 yen.
How do you like the finished product?
I've seen a mountain of reverse weave ®︎ too, and the texture of the fabric as well as the stained prints are quite faithfully reproduced. As a vintage lover, there are many things that make me feel romantic.

. You can fully enjoy the real pleasure that only a reprint can bring. . When Mr. Fujiwara wears it, I feel its aura even more.
After about a year of repeated washing and drying, the prints will be well blended in, and it may even be mistaken for vintage (laughs). (Laughs). I imagine that they are made with such thorough research that you would feel that way.

It really looks like it could be mistaken for something else! . It looks vintage, but at the same time, it goes well with a beautiful outfit like this one.
The arms of this model are thicker, so the arms don't lean, and there is no stress, so layering with a shirt, which I often do when wearing reverse weave ®︎ or vintage sweatshirts, is also a good idea. . This time, I tried to match it with leather shoes, glasses and other accessories to make it a little more formal than usual. Also, the sleeve ribs are long, so I fold them back so they don't get in the way of my jewelry or watch around my arms.
STYLE 2 "Never change. That's why they love us.
The next item worn is the same as the Reverse Weave ®︎ in appearance, but the material is an evolved version of polypropylene 100%. Another important point is that it does not have the "C" mark on the chest, commonly known as "eye-less".
We were taught that "eyeless" was rare because there were only a few of them in our generation, so we always choose them out of reflex (laughs). I have a lot of reverse weave ®︎, but the feel is fresh and different from vintage ones. In terms of design, it may have been designed with the narrower silhouette of the 70s and earlier in mind, but the slightly darker marbled gray color goes well with faded vintage denim and seems to resonate with adults who love vintage clothing.

The new fabric is not only lighter in design , but also 23.51 TP10T lighter than its predecessor. It features excellent heat insulation and warmth retention while retaining a fluffy texture, and its quick-drying performance is 3.8 times that of the previous model.
. it certainly felt warmer than normal when I wore it. And the fact that it dries quickly is great. The thick fabric is one of the attractions of the Reverse Weave ®︎, but it is difficult to dry because of this. I like the fact that it has been updated to be functional athletic wear. . It looks like it can be used casually, so it would be good for cheering on my son's soccer game.

Once again, why is "Champion" so well-loved?
. maybe it's because they don't change. Reverse Weave ®︎ may have had its downturns, but it continues to live on as it is today. I think the history that continues to the present is the proof of everything.
Mr. Fujiwara, who has been in touch with true vintage more than anyone else, what do Champion's sweatshirts mean to you?
For me, the standard is "something that goes well with denim. When I look around my closet, the sweatshirts I have the most are from Champion, starting with the Reverse Weave ®︎. I have that many sweatshirts, but when I think about how much more there is to explore, I can't think of anything more "authentic. Even though I have that many sweatshirts, there is still so much more to explore, and I think there is nothing more "authentic" than this. Champion" has been a symbol of Berberzine's pride as an "American casual" store since its opening, and I myself have always loved "Champion" and will always love "Champion". For those of us in the vintage clothing industry, "Champion" is an absolute must.
