03. sweat-absorbent quick-drying T-shirt
Sweat-absorbent and quick-drying fabrics are a must. Merino wool is also a must for sweat cooling and odor control.
Although it is not necessary to prepare such a garment for trail running, cotton is generally not a good choice, as it dries easily, so choose a material that absorbs sweat and dries quickly and feels good against the skin. Merino wool, which is resistant to perspiration and has a high odor-absorbing effect, is recommended except in midsummer. When the temperature is low, a combination of short sleeves and arm sleeves is better than long sleeves, as it is easier to cope with changes in the amount of perspiration.
04. running shorts
Assert your individuality by length and thickness! Don't forget to check the pockets and inner lining.
The most common sizes are from short 5" to long 7". As with T-shirts, check that the shorts have good sweat-absorbent and quick-drying properties, and that you can lift your legs without stress. Check to see if they have an inner lining, and if so, check the fit and breathability of the inner lining, as these are also important for comfort during the run.
