5. underwear
A staple in the outdoors, run in comfort with good protection against sweat and cold.
Wearing a water-repellent or hydrophobic, mesh-type undergarment is standard in the outdoors to prevent sweat chill and to keep water from coming in contact with the skin when wet from rain. It is a must-have item in winter and recommended to be worn even in summer if you are going to high elevation mountains. Since trail runs tend to be long in action, it is also important to choose shorts that are resistant to crotch chafing.
6. rainwear
Show off your ultralight! A lightweight item weighs less than 200g top and bottom.
Aside from a few trails in hilly areas, a top and bottom set of rainwear is essential equipment if you are going to the mountains. The required specifications are a waterproof breathable membrane and seam sealing. The tight silhouette, 2.5-layer lightweight type weighs around 200g for the top and bottom, so it is not hard to carry in a backpack. It can also be used as a warm-weather garment in place of a wind shell.
