New Balance" is a brand that is down-to-earth and mature.
Miyoshi: What kind of image do you have of "New Balance"?
Miyoshi:In a good sense, I would say that the brand is guarded, or rather, it is a brand that is firmly protecting its core. Even in collaborations, I get the impression that they carefully assess the brands they are working with, and they are very sincere and serious.
In terms of outdoor brands, Patagonia has a strong philosophy, but although the content is different, I think the hard-core feel is very similar. I think it is an adult brand with its feet firmly planted in the ground, without being overly concerned with fashion.

How many pairs do you have?
Miyoshi:I think I have about 20 to 30 pairs. I started wearing them when the "990v3" came out, and I was in my late 20s at the time, but I finally started to think that I could wear them myself. Until then, I had seen my seniors wearing them and thought they were cool.
I guess I was under the impression that they were sneakers for adults.
Miyoshi:Yes, there were. . but on the other hand, when I see young girls wearing them, I think that's a good thing.

The "1000 SERIES" was designed with military sweatshirts as a model. . The "N" is subtly stitched on the back.
