Topics 05 Souvenirs to get on your trip.
Just as we enjoy the local specialties of the places we visit on our travels, we want to get clothes that are unique to the area. While famous confections are great souvenirs to bring back to yourself, we think it is better to have items that you can use right away and that you will love for a long time. So what you should look out for are original items released at cool stores in Sapporo, Tokyo, Osaka, and Kanazawa. You can't get these items anywhere, anytime, so you will love them even more. It is interesting because you can feel the personality and climate of the store owner in each item.
Souvenirs of KANAZAWA

wax original〉Anorak parka ¥33,000(wax clothing)
The select store "wax clothing" is located about a 10-minute walk from the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa and Kenrokuen Garden in Ishikawa Prefecture. This is one shop that offers a full lineup of street brands and vintage clothing carefully selected from a core perspective, both domestic and international. In addition to such a sharp selection, the store's original items, which are released on an irregular basis, are also outstanding.
The new anorak jacket, which will be pre-released on the web from March 31 (Fri.), retains the scent of a good old outdoor brand while landing on a modern look. The fabric is made of MACLOWLY, a nylon spun-like taffeta with a soft texture like natural material and excellent water repellency. A large kangaroo pocket and chest pocket on the front and a flap-zip pocket on the back provide bag-free storage. Available in stores from April 1 (Sat).

The lineup includes a faded reddish-brown color as well as a glaze. It can be folded and stored in the detachable pouch on the back, making it ideal for travel. It is a versatile piece of clothing that incorporates knowledge gained from buying vintage clothing.
Souvenirs of TOKYO

〈Sansou Iijima〉Merino wool open-collar shirt, ¥30,800 (Sansou Iijima)
Sanso Iijima is not a store located in a noble mountainous area, but rather just off the Suzuran-dori shopping street in Kyodo, Tokyo. However, the items selected are high-spec items that are useful not only for town use and low-mountain hiking, but also for full-scale outdoor activities. Of particular note are the semi-custom-made shirts based on the concept of "wearable in the mountains," in which you can choose the fabric, size, details, and so on.
The owner, Mr. Takubo, has worked for a dress brand for a long time. The striped shirt in the photo is made of Italian merino wool, which has a natural odor-absorbing effect and does not smell bad even if you sweat a little during a 2- or 3-day trip. *Prices vary depending on size and details.
Natural fabrics such as wool and cotton are on standby, as are quick-drying synthetic fibers. Including colors and patterns, there are more than 100 types of fabrics, available in 10 sizes, button-down and pullover styles, flap pockets, round tails, and even detailed orders.
