A time of transition for many things. A time when the possibilities expanded as a result .

This season's theme is "Y2K," and you were just born in the 2000s , weren't you?
Zaihara:I was born in 1998 , so I'm still picky (laughs).
Nowadays, the 2000s are featured more and more in fashion.
Zaihara:. since I haven't turned 10 yet, I barely remember it. . so the "Y2K" that is now the focus of attention has become "Y2K" for me. . rather than remembering those days, it is something unknown to me.
Yoshikawa:From the late 90s to the 2000s, I was right in the middle of my adolescence, in my late teens or early 20s, and many things were shifting from analog to digital. In fashion, cyber clothes were in vogue in some areas, and even sneakers were designed in such a way that it took me a while to understand how futuristic they were (laughs).
Zaihara:So it was.
Yoshikawa:In the 2000s, the mode trend became stronger, and Hedi Slimane introduced extremely tight clothes, and suddenly there was a shift from the laid-back street fashion of the 1990s to tight clothes. Tight clothes suddenly became the focus of attention.
Zaihara:It was a time of transition for many things. It was a time when the possibilities expanded as a result.
Yoshikawa:Yes, that's right. For women's wear, the keyword "Y2K" has been around for about three years, and I thought now would be a good time to start a men's collection. I thought it would be a good time for men's wear. I thought that if I interpreted the techie items and materials of the time in the BEAMS style, it would be a good fit.
Zaihara:I'm so crazy about it.
Yoshikawa:However, our main focus is on American casual, so we are keeping that as our axis while adding technical elements to spice up the look.
