VANS "CLASSIC SLIPP-ON

Despite the waffle sole and simple silhouette, the checkered flag pattern on these slip-ons makes them the star of the show. Perfect as an accent to a simple coordinate, you can easily create a point of interest by wearing them with wide pants or cargo pants to show off the checkered flag pattern on the upper. ¥6,600
Head:I first learned about the merits of "Vans" when I was a high school student wearing them for the first time. First of all, they are so easy to match. They go with everything, from cool outfits to cute outfits. In fact, there is no outfit that doesn't go with them. Although it is a checkered flag pattern, the monotone color gives it a calm finish. It's a trendy item, but I think it's best not to shy away from it just because it's trendy.

Head:Tie-dye patterns have an old-fashioned image in my mind. I am a bit nervous when it comes to sweatpants, but the chic black base color gives a calm impression. The checkered flag pattern of the "Vans" tie-dye pattern pulls together the muted image of the tie-dye pattern. Both patterns are similar, but not too loud. The colors are also similar, but there is a nice gap between the two. Socks can also be shown off, so you can play around with that as well. It might be fun to wear pants with socks in.

-Do you usually have your own rules for deciding how to coordinate?
Head:I decide on one favorite item, or one item that I definitely want to wear today, and then combine it with the other items. Some days it's shoes, some days it's tops. Today, I came up with the combination of a checked grampa shirt and a parka, so I combined them around that.
-Do you like sweat items?
Head:I love it. I have so many of them, and I even have a very oversized sweatshirt that covers my knees.
-Is it still insufficient without a pattern?
Head:Yes, I think so. Basically, I tend to choose things that have patterns or prints on them. I think it is easy to understand my preferences. I don't choose solid colors for my main items, and I tend to use loud items as my main items as much as possible. If it is plain, I feel kind of uncomfortable (laughs).
