As one would expect from Lake Biwa, there are plenty of points!

The third location was the Lake Biwa Bridge. On the way to my destination, I look through the sluice gate and see a bass of about 40 cm swimming! I immediately drop a lure on it.

Saisu: I got a bite on the cat rig! But I lost it on the surface. The bite was shallow because I was hanging it from the top, and I think it bit lightly while I was chasing it. It's so difficult to catch fish.

The sun began to set at a good time. Although the visible bass were absent, we came to our destination, the Lake Biwa Bridge. This is a place where there are many weedy shallows. I used a high-specific gravity worm to increase the casting distance and a cat rig to search the weeds, and Komatsu responded!

Komatsu: Bean bass ( lol ). about the same size as a straight worm. Like Bob's ( Ishii ), it bit the moment it came off the weed where it was hooked. There was no response from the angler. But one fish is one fish.

We moved on again before sunset, although there was a good chance of catching fish. The next is the last point of the day. We arrived along a busy road. I realized how many points there are in Lake Biwa that bass fishing is possible even in such a place. This is also a shallow area with weeds and plenty of structure.

Mr. Hayashida felt a reaction immediately. He seemed to be lurking in the weeds and got a bite. Mr. Saisu also got a bite. He was throwing a cat rig with a rod he borrowed from Mr. Ishii when he got a clear bite. Neither of them caught the fish, but the area seemed to be in good shape. As we were getting excited, Ikemoto got a hit!

Ikemoto:I was able to achieve my goal of fishing with a Texas rig! I was happy to catch fish in a different way than usual. The lures I had bought for Lake Biwa were useful.

The first day's fishing was over as the sun had completely set. Although it was a land fishing challenge to get used to the fishing, I was able to fully enjoy the many points of Lake Biwa. Then, I was looking forward to visiting this store. Seven Palms Moriyama, which I visited last year.

This store specializes in lures mainly for bass fishing. It is a famous store essential for bass fishing in Lake Biwa, releasing lures in original colors from various manufacturers. You can learn the latest bass fishing information, and the knowledge of the staff is nothing short of impressive. The store is frequented by professionals and guides who call Lake Biwa their home, and the selection of products is breathtaking. The store also stocks a wide variety of popular lures that are hard to find in the Kanto area, and the large lures that are unique to Lake Biwa are very exciting.

Here we met up with Hakusui ( Shirouzu ) who will guide us on the second day. The area he would guide us to was the North Lake area. He will instruct us on the lures and fishing methods that have been producing good results recently, and we will buy more lures and accessories to prepare for the next day.
