Then, as the time to return to port approached, we went to our last point. Moving from North Lake to South Lake, we came to an area where weeds were growing on the side of the flowing water. I heard that small fish are accumulating in the weeds where they can avoid the current, and large size fish are lurking here as well. The cat rig seems to be effective. I feel it tugging at the weeds and suddenly it seems to bite. I concentrate with my last hope.
Ishii: The sun was setting and it was getting nice and early in the evening. I managed to catch one fish here. I still want to fish more, so the closer the end time gets, the more I miss the name of the fish.
We stayed until just before the time to return to port, but we could not catch any fish here. Time was up.
Murayama: This year I was able to go to North Lake and just throw cranks, which I wanted to do, so it was fun. I want to take revenge again. Next time I want to aim for 60.
Ishii: I was happy that Mr. Ikemoto caught a 50, but I was not satisfied with my personal catch. The bass fish were thicker than in any other lake, so that's why I was so disappointed.
Hayashida: As with any lake, you have to go through it many times. I think I finally understand Lake Biwa a little better. It is fun to go out and fish together and I hope to come back to Lake Biwa again.
Saisu: I have a job and a family, so it was great to be able to fish for two days. However, even though it is Lake Biwa, it is not easy to catch big size fish. I want to catch a 50-plus next time.
Ikemoto: I was happy to have achieved my goal. I am looking forward to coming back again because the fishing style is different when the season changes. Next time, I hope to fish with a lure I haven't fished with yet.
Komatsu: I enjoyed visiting various points both on land and by boat. However, it was a pity that we could not catch the size we were aiming for. I would like to try Lake Biwa again with everyone.
