Spot06 Kume Textile Industry (Factory store / directly managed store)

Kume Textile Industry Co., Ltd. has been making T-shirts for more than half a century since its establishment in 1935. The only factory store in Japan is located here in Kinshicho.
Kume Textile is committed to "Made in Japan" with meticulous craftsmanship, and has achieved industry-proven high quality by consistently handling everything from material selection and cutting to sewing and finishing.

As proof of this, we have produced T-shirts for numerous select stores and collection brands. We have also collaborated with Akio Hasegawa, a well-known stylist at Huinam, on a big series.
The store carries only cut-and-sewn garments sewn at the company's own factory, including T-shirts, long T-shirts, and sweatshirts. However, there are more than 10 types of T-shirts alone, and the popular "01 T-shirt" comes in more than 60 colors to choose from. This shows the company's pride in being a specialized manufacturer with a narrow and deep focus.

Cotton is a single word, but it has a variety of textures and expressions depending on where it is produced, how it is spun, and how it is processed. For example, the "01 T-shirt," with its softness and firmness, is comfortable just by rolling up the sleeves. Of course, the sizing and pattern have been adjusted so that it can be worn alone as a fashion item.

The crew, who had seen many T-shirts at a vintage clothing store called "Under the Sun," were very interested in them, saying, "They feel good to the touch, and they come in a wide variety of colors, so they look fashionable and easy to use.
Another reason to go out of your way to visit is that the prices are reasonable because they are sold directly from the factory.
Kume Textile and Brompton have something in common in that they take pride in being professionals in their fields. It is interesting to see the depth of a specialized manufacturer. With these thoughts in mind, we leave the store.
