During the event, a one-day manager will appear each day. Guests will be entertained by a unique group of people, including Motoki Yoshikawa, men's casual director of BEAMS, Naoto Okutomi, owner and DJ of Shibuya's vintage clothing store BOY, Takeshi Shimizu of Koenji's standing bar TEN CLUB, and a group of his fun-loving friends. On the day when the editorial department of Finamu visited, SASARISA, who is active as a fashion PR and model, was working as a manager for a day to liven up the event together with the guests.
Inside the store, people were enjoying themselves in different ways, starting a heated discussion about clothes with a highball in one hand, or doing night shopping in a tipsy mood. On this day, we also caught people deepening their friendship by playing Indian poker, which suddenly started.
The clientele varied from day to day, with the Friends of the store manager for the day, staff from nearby select stores, and staff from "BEAMS" stores all arriving after hours. The mixing of different communities, who rarely talk to each other in a relaxed atmosphere, was filled with energy and vitality.
THE WALKERS in BEAMS MEN SHIBUYA" was a great success, attracting a wide variety of people throughout the day. The event, which combined the fashion community unique to BEAMS with the authentic bar culture of Johnnie Walker, showcased a new type of evening, and will be held again in the future.
