Born in Tokyo in 1990, she joined BEAMS in 2013. After working as a sales associate at BEAMS Tachikawa for three years and at BEAMS Yurakucho for six and a half years, he will become a buyer for BEAMS PLUS in 2022.

-Mr. Yanai wore the "CLASSIC" series, which is a standard item along with the "ORIGINALS" series.
Yanai: About eight years ago, I wore the same model frequently.
-I see! What was your initial image?
Yanai: I had always had an image of side gore boots as dressy and elegant, but I thought "Brand Stone" boots had a chubby shape and just the right balance of neither elegant nor rugged. At BEAMS Tachikawa, where I was working at the time, people of various fashion styles, including street and American casual, were wearing them, and I felt that they were highly versatile.
-What is the point of this coordination?
Yanai: When I wore them before, I heard that they were work boots but also used as gardening shoes, so I decided on the theme of "work style in the forest" inspired by work.
-I like the off-white of the painted pants and the cap for a sense of escape.
Yanai: Personally, I like to wear white in the winter. I chose white because I thought it would look good in the season when combined with the warmth of the tops. These [BEAMS PLUS] painted pants and caps have dirt printed on them.
-The print gives it a cozy feel.
Yanai: I thought the stain print would match the story of BrandStone's "Field Shoes. I always wear thick pants, so these shoes give my feet the volume they need to keep up. BEAMS PLUS" has a lot of military and work pants, and I found this pair easy to match with all of them.
-This is a very different look.
Yanai: This is a sleeping wear set-up made by special order from "MOJITO". It is tailored in the same fine-ribbed corduroy used for the shirt. I imagined an upper-class Englishman watering his garden after waking up from sleep.
-Relaxed yet sophisticated.
Yanai: I've been into monotone styles lately, so the black of the shoes felt right. The key points are the materials and gradation. The knit and tweed materials give it a British look.
-How do you feel after wearing Brand Stone's "CLASSIC" model for the first time in a while?
Yanai: They are still easy to wear. They are light and have adequate cushioning.
-Unlike the ORIGINALS, the heel of the insole is also made of XRD®, a high-performance cushioning material.
Yanai: They look like leather shoes, but feel like sneakers. I like that there are no laces, so I can put them on quickly and easily. They don't have an elegant leather sole, nor do they have a heavy sole specialized for outdoor wear, so they don't look too earthy. I think that's why they can be worn in all genres.
