When you think about it, the reasons for being interested in fashion are surprisingly simple. Magazines I checked in my youth, actors in movies and TV dramas, musicians. Or, in my case, my siblings and friends. But since you can't copy them all, you have to work hard to rearrange them and gradually develop your own style of fashion. I believe that a certain point of opportunity will connect the circle of people who have been doing this for a long time.
In fact, when I was in high school, I was greatly influenced by the American band The Strokes. I happened to have a copy of the band on an MD that a friend had made for me. At the time, the Internet was not as advanced as it is today, so I was trying very hard to get information from "Rocking On". I was especially interested in the two guitarists, Nick and Albert. I liked their seemingly careless fashion, mixed with vintage clothes. I always wore a pair of dirty "All Star" high-cut Converse shoes.
I chose this pair of shoes with this in mind, a pair from the 1980's. The worn-in look is "◎". It takes a lot of time and effort to create this look from scratch after buying a brand new pair. Size US11, 29cm would be acceptable. All Star" looks good even if you wear it big.
If you're a Nick fan, you'll wear Levi's 606 pants; if you're an Albert fan, you'll wear slacks. If you want to fall somewhere in the middle, you should wear a pair of "Staple" pants. Also, the length should be a little shorter.
It has been about 20 years since then, but when I look at "All Star", memories of those days come back to me. For some reason, I still want to wear them even though times have changed, so these sneakers are a wonder, aren't they?
