Since its establishment in 1919, Bunka Fashion College has played a central role in Japanese fashion education for more than 100 years. The Bunka Fashion College Running Club was established in 2022 as one of Bunka Fashion College's club activities.
We have organized group runs involving runners from inside and outside the school, participated in races, and exhibited at events. While running is the keyword, we have been involved in all kinds of activities from the fashionable perspective that only a clothing school can offer.

The concept of this work, which was derived from the communication between the two parties while running together, is "Vintage Tech.
Taking a motif from the denim jacket, which can be said to be a standard vintage item, the material used is polyester, which has both stretch and lightweight properties. While faithfully retaining the details unique to denim jackets, the pockets have been repositioned to accommodate trail running, tucked in to increase the range of motion, and snap buttons for speedy on/off.
Yet the silhouette is relaxed and the texture is natural. The fine-tuned fit for everyday wear is another key point.
This is a one-of-a-kind running jacket that combines the free-spirited sensibility of a student with the reliable functionality of performance wear. It will be on sale from November 12 (Wed.) at the Tanuki online store and some stores that carry it.
