Polo Ralph Lauren's legendary JAPANORAK is finally being reissued in a special order by BEAMS.

The reissue of JAPANORAK by POLO RALPH LAUREN and BEAMS has been a hot topic on social networking sites for some time. The full picture has finally been unveiled.

The JAPANORAK was planned by Polo Ralph Lauren, inspired by 1930s ski wear, and launched in 2010. Not only was it immensely popular on the street scene and among vintage Ralph Lauren collectors, but its small distribution volume also made it a legendary piece.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, BEAMS is proud to present a special reissue of this masterpiece, a fitting tribute to the anniversary year.

The Japan flag on the front, which is the face of this item, the embroidered flags and cities of Japan and the U.S. on both sleeves, the armbands, and the heavy metal parts are faithfully reproduced from the original. In addition, the use of smooth and durable materials has resulted in an updated version that is more in line with modern lifestyles.

The size lineup includes men's sizes S-XXL and women's sizes XS.

In conjunction with this, a special order model based on the standard cotton chino cap is also available. The flag is embroidered on the front side and the "BEAMS" logo is embroidered on the upper part of the back adjuster.

It will be available at BEAMS Japan (Shinjuku) from January 31 (Sat) and at the official online store from February 2 (Mon).
