Late last month, I wrote in this column about the launch of STONE ISLAND’s fall/winter collection.
Following that, the brand announced new items that embody the two material studies symbolizing the new season: “LIGHT NYLON 3L-TC” and “ORGANIC PANAMA COTTON+NYLON.”
The former is a lightweight, three-layer fabric that combines a glossy nylon outer layer with a high-performance membrane and a mesh backing.
The hooded shell jacket made from this fabric has been dyed a vibrant pink using *Stone Island*’s exceptional garment-dyeing technique. It’s amazing that they were able to dye it while maintaining the membrane’s windproof and water-resistant properties.

And the item that used the latter was a hooded jacket.
The body of the garment is made from organic Panama cotton fabric, and features large nylon pockets and other details that highlight the contrast between the different materials.
Another key feature is that each piece is dyed using the same garment-dyeing process, which brings out the unique colors and textures of each fabric while creating a cohesive overall look.

Featured in this campaign's visuals are American DJ Adrian Doozmanian (known as DJ DZA) and professional basketball player Briana Stewart.
With its eye on a wide range of genres, *Stone Island*’s casting is always superb.
