In June of the same year, a public workshop for citizens was launched calledIshinomaki Workshop.". The exhibition "10" Ten Years of Ishinomaki Workshop," which traces the 10 years of its history, will be held at the "Karimoku Commons Tokyo. will be held from Monday, June 14 to Friday, August 6.
Karimoku Commons Tokyo, where this exhibition will be held, is the Tokyo base of the long-established Japanese furniture manufacturer Karimoku Furniture , where visitors can experience the various collections of furniture it has developed.
Ishinomaki Kobo, which will be exhibited, has been making furniture for post-disaster recovery and reconstruction, as well as for the people of the region; the company, which has pushed the possibilities of DIY, has launched a collection called "Ishinomaki Kobo by Karimoku" with the brand "Karimoku Furniture" in 2019, and over the past decade has been involved in a variety of domestic and international Over the past decade, the company has continued to engage in a variety of activities, including collaborations with designers in Japan and abroad.
Among them, the "Made in Local Project" has made such progress that "Ishinomaki Kobo" items are now made in more than 10 countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, the United States, and China.
