Maison Margiela " captivates fashion lovers with its distinctly different approach to design. Creative Director John Galliano has evolved the creations and values of this rare Maison while respecting its traditions.
The initiative born out of this is a collaboration with Reebok, which began in September 2020. The first project was a hybrid shoe that combined the iconic "Tavi" shoe and the "Instapump Fury" shoe. This was followed by the release of a series that crossed Reebok's "Classic Leather" with the "Tavi" in February of this year, and in March, a model that fused Reebok's "Club Sea" with Maison Margiela's signature trompe l'oeil. In March, the brand released a model that fused Reebok's "Club Sea" with Maison Margiela's signature trompe l'oeil.
And on Friday, June 18, the latest edition, the "Classic Leather Tavi High," will be released. The base of the shoe is the "Classic Leather," one of Reebok's masterpieces that first appeared in 1983. Through Maison Margiela's "décortiche" technique, elements of gladiator sandals were added to it.

To begin with, "decortication" is a house technique of the Maison defined by John Galliano , which dares to expose the lining and structure of clothes, which are normally invisible. In these sneakers, the upper is partially cut to create a cage-like design, giving them the look of gladiator sandals.
It is available in four colors. In addition to black leather, white leather, and red leather, there is also the "Bianchetto," a black leather with white paint applied by hand, which is the true "Margiela" style. The shoes will be available at the official online stores of "Maison Margiela" and "Reebok," directly managed "Maison Margiela" stores, and select stores.
