With the recent sudden cold snap, many of you may have pulled out your winter outerwear. Even if you already have your favorite outerwear, you don't want to wear the same outfit as last year... For those who are particular about their outfits, we recommend changing things up with knitwear. For those of you who are particular about such things, I recommend making a change with knitwear.
This season, we rebranded to offer fashion that will move your heart.FREDY & GLOSTERThe knitwear is well made. The original knitwear produced by this select store is very well made. Using vintage as a design source, they have incorporated ideas of what they would like to see in their knitwear, and have created knitwear that fits the current mood.
Freddie & Gloucester.WebsiteIn the following section, we pick up knitwear from this season's collection that we particularly recommend from a hui-nam perspective, and here we introduce three of our top picks.
PICK UP ITEM 01: Shetland Wool Knit
Sheep from the Shetland Islands in northern Scotland have a warm fleece to cope with the harsh winters. Their wool is soft, light, and has an elegant luster. The wool is carefully spun and knitted into this knit. The silhouette is more comfortable to wear than a regular size, and the slightly mock-neckline gives it an elegant look. Shetland wool is also characterized by its color when dyed, and its energetic orange color, like the sun, adds color to cold winters.
PICK UP ITEM 02: Mohair Cardigan
The long-awaited restocking of the mohair cardigan, which was released in the fall and sold out in no time. This one comes in a new color that was not included in the first batch, a colorful purple, combined with a subdued gray for a more mature look. The "grunge" look with a shabby T-shirt and tattered jeans is fine, but I'm in the mood for an urban look that incorporates the essence of grunge in a classy way. If this is the case, why not try a simple styling with black overalls?
PICK UP ITEM 03: Norwegian Knit
This cardigan is a reference to the traditional knitwear of the Setesdal region in southern Norway. The unique pattern and Tyrolean tape-like detailing on the ribs are key points. The original pattern is based on Fair Isle, with the addition of a graphic depicting people holding hands in a row. The hooks on the front are as unique as the pattern itself. The moderately thick knit has a relaxed atmosphere, so we recommend wearing it over a parka or sweatshirt.
