New Balance, which has been steadily increasing its presence in the apparel industry with the MET24 and THE CITY lines at the top of its list, has introduced a new outdoor wear collection, MT1996.

The theme for the design was the MT580, a classic trail running shoe that debuted in 1996. What if we had developed apparel to match the shoes back then? The concept is to develop clothing and accessories that are retro, modern, and functional.

This collection offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the outdoor lifestyle by taking a deeper look at the technology and design of the "MT580".

The relaxed silhouette that is now being revived again after the 90's is fully adopted, and functionality is added by using a rash guard that is ideal for waterfront activities and a ripstop material that is water-repellent. For the first season, in addition to full-zip hoodies, pullovers, and dresses, which are the main product numbers, a wide variety of items such as shirts, graphic T-shirts, shorts, and climbing pants will be available. Many of the items are made in accordance with New Balance's high eco-friendly standards, and recycled materials are used not only for the body but also for some of the parts.
