There are two types of grains: natural and cultivated. The former is the one that makes the most of leather's original unevenness, and the latter is the one that expresses such unevenness by embossing process.
Maison Margiela's lineup of leather goods this season are farmed, but they have the appearance of natural products.
The leather, which is named "Grainy Calf Leather," is treated in a manner of a light make-up, with a gentle grain, and wrinkles and blood vessels that would normally be removed as defects are left in place. The season's color, light beige, brings out the best of the leather.
Rather than being stylish and clear-cut, he loves to create products that reveal their true nature. These leather goods are typical of Maison Margiela.
The card holder has two card slots, the card holder with key ring has four card slots, and the wallet has one bill pocket, one coin pocket, and four card holders. All are bi-fold with a snap button closure.
