HASAMI PORCELIN, celebrating its 10th anniversary in Japan, announces a collaborative project with an artist. The first partner is Yoichiro Uchida.

HASAMI PORCELAIN" has been sold in the U.S. since 2011 and in Japan since 2013. To celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, HASAMI PORCELAIN is launching "ART MAG," a project in collaboration with seven artists.

The first volume featured the work of Yoichiro Uchida.

The base is a white medium size mug . Here is a comment from Mr. Uchida .

I am sure that David Lynch, while writing the book with his pencil clenched in his hand, was sipping his coffee thinking, "Even a bad coffee is better than no coffee at all. I chose this phrase because I imagine that many coffee drinkers, including myself, would agree with this phrase, even though it is a bit of an exaggeration.

The project will be followed by a series of mugs collaborating with six other artists to be released by the end of the year. And minor changes have been made from the previous products, such as changing the glaze, and the color white, which was once available, has been revived. The items have been narrowed down and will be available again.
