Mammut's flagship store opens in Kyoto! In addition to highly functional gear, 3D modeling visualizes hiking routes.

MAMMUT, which celebrated its 160th anniversary last year with 11 directly managed stores in Japan alone and approximately 400 retail outlets, has opened its largest flagship store in Japan, "MAMMUT Kyoto. Under the concept of "MAMMUT MEETS KYOTO," the store will promote the appeal of Kyoto as an outdoor area.

Kyoto is a city where the traditions of the ancient capital live on, and at the same time, it is known as a land surrounded by mountains on three sides. In order to visualize the hiking routes, a 3D model of the "Kyoto Round-the-Kyoto Trail®" has been installed in Mammut Kyoto. The 3D modeling of the "Kyoto Round-the-Kyoto Trail®" was installed at Mammut Kyoto to provide a panoramic view of the outdoors in Kyoto.

At "Hütte 1862," a brand experience space located in one corner of the store, staff members will give lectures on hiking and climbing trails in the Kyoto area. In addition, the staff will provide a hands-on experience where visitors can pack the tools necessary for actual mountaineering into a backpack, learn how to take care of products, and get information on Mammut's CSR. Don't miss the Mt. Atago sculpture at the counter.

As the largest of its kind in Japan, the store offers a diverse product lineup. The high-end product line "Eiger Extreme," created in collaboration with athletes, is at the top of the list, along with an abundance of highly functional items such as shells, shoes, ropes, and other outdoor gear, as well as lifestyle wear for business and town use.
