Altra has signed an athlete contract with professional trail runner Hiroki Ishikawa starting in January 2025. Mr. Ishikawa has commented on the agreement as follows.

From now on, I would like to go out with Altra shoes to all kinds of fields and pursue the fascination and fun of trail running, running in the mountains, and playing in the mountains. Although I am a newcomer to the Altra brand, I would like to do my best to contribute to the image and style that the brand and athletes have built up in Japan.
