After last week's snow, the weather has warmed up quickly, and people are now wearing T-shirts. Hario has released a nice item for the thirsty season.
The name is "Mugi-chan" and it is a 1 liter pot for barley tea. It has a nice, chunky appearance, of course, but it also seems to make barley tea very easy to make.
It is very easy to use. Put 300mL of water in a pot and heat it in the microwave for 3 minutes. Then add the tea bags and brew for about 5 minutes, add water and let stand for 30 minutes to 1 to 2 hours, and the barley tea is ready.
It could be a size that fits in the microwave or refrigerator, a tea strainer on the lid, a rounded bottom for easy jumping, or a wide mouth shape for easy washing.... The design of the tea is very much like barley tea, and is easy to use on a daily basis. The lid is available in two colors, white and dark gray.
