I learned that Mr. Yamaoka's roots are in the Koinobori (carp streamer) brand, which he launched at the young age of 16. The Japanese culture he absorbed there, as well as the fineness and profundity of his handiwork, are incorporated into "Kanei". This bag is a good example of that. If you take a closer look, you will see that the fur and boa fabrics have been cord-embroidered with wool yarn, creating a crafty finish that looks like hand-embroidery.
