Fuinam: Next up is the “adizero EVO SL ZIP-UP” from Adidas. The “EVO SL” has been one of the biggest hits among running shoes in recent years.
Okajima: This is a model we’re also promoting under the “Atmos” brand. That “EVO SL” is now available in a zip-up style.

Fuinam: This is cool.
Okajima: Depending on the color, the standard “EVO SL” has a look that’s very much like a running shoe, so I think some people might have found it a bit too sporty. But with the addition of the center zip, this version has a more urban feel and is easier to wear as a fashion statement.
Fuinam: The way the three stripes are incorporated is also distinctive.
Okajima: I really like how the three stripes wrap all the way around. They have a more fashion-forward look than the standard “EVO SL,” so I’d love for people who dress that way to give them a try.
Fuinam: The fact that it has a zipper instead of shoelaces makes it seem easy to wear on a daily basis.
Okajima: When you tighten them, they actually fit surprisingly well, and I think they’re easier to wear as sneakers that way.
Fuinam: Is itself still gaining momentum?
Okajima: Things are going great. I think this is a great time for the Three Stripes to really shine. Striped items are popular in apparel right now, and wearing this model fits right in with that trend—it’s definitely a cool look.
