Okajima: Yes. The original was released in 1988, and this is the colorway that Michael Jordan himself wore.

Fuinam: A reissue after a long time?
Okajima: This is the first re-release in 10 years. People who bought the last pair might be wearing them out by now, so this is a great time for those who couldn’t get them back then to pick up a pair. For longtime Jordan fans and sneakerheads, this is definitely the pair they’ve been waiting for.
Fuinam: The blue and red accents really pop against the white upper—they’d look great in the summer, too.
Okajima: The blue midsole and lining, along with the red tongue, serve as accents against an overall white base. The heel features the “NIKE AIR” logo, giving it a classic OG look.
Fuinam: The "Air Jordan 3" is also a classic designed by Tinker Hatfield.
Okajima: That's right. It was designed by Tinker, who also worked on the "Air Max 1," so I think it holds a special place within the Jordan series.
