Vintage Summit's second special order project. Converse's famous Jack Purcell meets BEYONDEXX's Great War denim, finally unleashed!

Following the "Chuck Toggle HVS" that was released as a Vintage Summit special order project through limited sales channels, the long-awaited second volume will finally make its debut! While the first volume featured a rare model in the so-called "rare berth" category, this time we have selected the "Jack Purcell" as the base model, which is well-known to everyone as a long-selling model that represents the brand. For the upper, Mr. Konno of "NEXUSⅦ." takes the lead, and the much talked about "BEYONDEXX," a Japanese denim developed by a group of denim experts, is used to breathe new life into this longtime global seller. We invited four familiar faces, who are also the originators of this special order, to talk about the appeal of this new product to the fullest. Finally, HOUYHNHNM pre-orders are now being accepted, so don't miss out!

CONVERSE x HOUYHNHNM VINTAGE SUMMIT JACK PURCELL RET HVS ¥17,600（TAX IN)

The base model is the "Jack Purcell," a masterpiece of Converse's court shoes. The upper is made of a denim fabric that is a reissue of a Beyondex World War II model, which took six years to complete to a quality that would satisfy even vintage clothing lovers. The rubber tape at the joint between the upper and the sole is navy in color, in keeping with the navy-colored models from the 1980s and earlier. As they are worn in, they develop a "point-faded" look that is unique to the denim of the World War II models. The "HVS" in the model name stands for HOUYHNHNM VINTAGE SUMMIT (HOUYHNHNM's), scheduled for release on May 10.
