The name of the bathhouse is "Sweat Steam Tent No Yu" (汗蒸幕のゆ) or "Sweat Steam Tent No Yu. It may be common knowledge, since it is converted into kanji with a single stroke when typing "Hanjunmaku".
But we, the uninitiated, had no idea that such a sauna existed.
The domed sauna, with its piled stones, is a Japanese version based on the traditional Korean thermal therapy sauna.
The explanation is that the germanium-bearing ondolite...Home PageIn other words, the dome-shaped piles of stones generate far-infrared rays, which reflect heat and warm the body from the core. Indeed, the amount of sweat that flows is extraordinary. Compared to the usual Finnish sauna, the sweat comes out faster. And, to borrow a phrase from this facility, the sweat is "thick. After that, I took my usual course of a water bath and an outdoor air bath, and was completely refreshed.
Saunas know. They know that in order to be deeply connected to the body, it is important to warm up from the core of the body, not from the surface of the skin. The greatness of far-infrared radiation is 100 times better understood by feeling it than by understanding it theoretically.

Incidentally, the amount of sweat that flows is so great that every night after closing time, the floor is cleaned by lifting up the flooring. You would have to have a love of saunas to do such a thing. The president of this sauna center went to Korea to inspect saunas and decided that the sweat steam room was the only sauna he could find, so he brought it to Japan.
In addition, there are two more saunas available. One is a loess sauna, which has been handed down in Korea for centuries like the sweat pavilions, and the other is the Rocky Sauna, which was developed in the pursuit of the authentic Finnish sauna. The former allows you to lie on the floor like a bedrock bath, while the latter allows you to experience refreshing perspiration while being enveloped in negative ions. With three types of saunas rich in individuality, "Sweat Steam Tub No Yu" is truly a sauna theme park.
