GORP CORE Vol.2
Stylist Yuto Inagaki recommends this gorp item.

Perhaps because everyone is longing for freedom from the never-ending Corona disaster, we have been seeing more and more outdoor-inspired outfits since last season. This is the so-called "gorp core" that has been the talk of the town. GORP is an acronym for "Good Old Raisins and Peanuts," a nutritious mixed nut essential for hiking and trekking. We asked stylist Yuto Inagaki, who loves this techie style in both his personal and professional life, to tell us what items he is currently interested in.

GORP CORE 01

D-VEC x ELIMINATOR
A changeable silhouette that can only be understood by wearing it.

This is the first collaboration between "Eliminator" and "Deebec," a well-known fishing tackle company. Having become accustomed to oversized clothing, I was finding compact techwear somewhat uncomfortable to wear, and I liked the rounded silhouette, which is different from simply being large. The details inspired by fishing vests are also subtly effective. Eliminator" is very good at combining the right balance of "fashionable" and "realistic. The material used is GORE-TEX Infineum, so I have no complaints about its functionality.
(Deebec x Eliminator) jacket, ¥90,200 (Eliminator)

NIKE
A pioneer in sustainable products.

I've been going to Teenager, my favorite thrift store, for a wide selection of 2000s tech wear and recent military items. I'm interested in the Considade rock shoes I found there, and the sustainable approach of using organic materials and minimizing adhesives in the mid-00s is as expected of "Nike. The gray and blue color scheme is also modern.
〈Used〉Sneakers ¥17,600 (teenager)

Y(dot) BY NORDISK
Three layers with a classic face.

Widot by Nordisk was born in East Germany in 1983. The design is unadorned and rigid, which is typical of the German brand, but I was struck by the product's use of 3-layer material. So-called M-65 pants have action pleats on the knees, but they don't look as three-dimensional. They are cargo pants, though, so I think they are easy to coordinate with everyday outfits.
WYDOT by NORDISK pants, ¥26,400 (Alpha PR)

MONTANE
A new option of base layer.

I often use a base layer when I style my clothes. Just by adding a base layer, it gives me a more technical mood. This is a piece of clothing from an authentic outdoor brand called "Montaine" in the UK. The special material blending PrimaLoft and merino wool is functional and has a unique sheen, of course, but the diagonal neck zip and the neon yellow color choice are outstanding. It is normally worn under a middle layer, but if you are going to wear it in town, I think it would be better to wear a jacket on top.
MONTAIN〉Tops ¥14,300(Lanch Kisentorium Tokyo)
