What you want at Styles. Vol.1 Haruki Uchiyama

Uchiyama:When styling actors and models, I try to match their characters. Recently, I have been doing a lot of work for select stores, and I try to keep a good balance.

Uchiyama:If it is too much, people will think it is too much, and if it is not enough, it will not catch their attention. I focus on a balance of not going too far, but not too simple. What I have been struggling with recently is that if there is a combination that is standard but fashionable, anyone can do it without styling it themselves. But if the combination is too eccentric, it cannot be imitated and is not fashionable at all. I feel like I haven't yet found the right balance between what anyone can do and what I want to propose.

Uchiyama:Of course, there are times when we discuss with each other to find out what they are looking for. I also have many friends in the same industry, so I sometimes talk to them on a casual basis and see what they think of the styling. and see how they respond.

Uchiyama:I bought these "3-Eye Classic" shoes in the spring, and I personally found them easy to wear, so I wanted to include them in my styling. The standard model of the "3-Eye Classic" is the outer leather model, but that would make me look like "the austere casual," so I decided to go with the nubuck model.

Uchiyama:Short-length outerwear has been on my mind recently. Among them, when it comes to sports style, you can't go wrong with a stadium jacket. There were some with white leather sleeves, but I chose black to match the color of the body. I thought this would be a more mature look. And with this "Timberland" model, it gives a slightly cooler impression than the outer leather model. Since the outerwear and shoes are in subdued colors, I wanted to add color to the other items. A parka goes well with a stadium jacket, so I matched a color close to my favorite burgundy. It would have looked ordinary on its own, so I dared to bring in a bright pink for the pants. Gray and pink are a good color match, and they also go well with burgundy. Moreover, Dickies and Timberland are American brands, so I thought that would be nice too.

Uchiyama:Salomon" was just the right choice to incorporate tech sneakers. They are easy to wear and go with any styling. You can wear them with slacks, but they also go well with casual pants like these.

Uchiyama:First of all, when I thought about coordinating my fall outfits, this Wales Bonner x adidas vest was a must-have. Bonner x adidas vest was a must-have for me. It's a great item, and I was also interested in it. If this vest was going to be the main item, I also wanted to wear a serious sports brand on my feet, so I matched it with Salomon's XT-6s, considering the color scheme. A shirt would be too formal, or on the contrary, too beautiful, so I think a long T-shirt is just right as an inner layer for the vest. A white T-shirt would blur the overall color, so I used an earthy olive color to tie it all together. For pants, I thought beige would be a good match to connect the vest and shoes, so I chose Gramichi cargo pants. The material is crisp and drapes well, and has a slight sheen, so I matched them with an image similar to track pants.
