With a string of hit movies, movie theaters have gradually begun to attract more and more people. However, the shadow of the coronavirus has not disappeared at all, and it is still very close to us.... We cannot let our guard down yet.
The film industry is being forced to fight a battle with no way out, but four strong parties have risen up and launched a project.
The logo is by graphic designer Kazutake Kobayashi. The light from the movie projected on the screen illuminates a person in a dark car. The motif of the logo is based on the profile of a person in a dark car, and includes various expressions of joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure.
The gathering was rooted in fashion and culture, "BEAMS (BEAMS)Cosmo Communications, Inc.FilmarksTransit General Office".
The drive-in theater was set up with the objective of fulfilling the wishes of people who "want to avoid the seclusion but still want to watch a movie on the big screen," and also to reemphasize the excellence of the movie experience. We named it "B-THEATER.
The venue is Nagai Umite Park, Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture. If the daily life up to now has been side-A, then the current situation in which we are facing a difficult time is side-B (B side). However, if we can take advantage of this situation and make it more exciting, it will open up new possibilities for film and, by extension, for culture.
With family, with friends, with lovers. Get in your car and go to B-THEATER on weekends.
