From this perspective, February's "Shopping AddictThe ceramic brand "P&A ceramic ware" was introduced in the "P&A Ceramic Ware" section of the "P&A Ceramic Ware" section of the "P&A Ceramic Ware" website.

Its exhibition and sale "GARGANTUA" is now being held at the select store "I SEE ALL" in Osaka.

These ceramics, which have a polygonal form, are produced by roquro, a virtual pottery wheel system. While they have an inorganic aspect, the warmth of human hands can be felt somehow. It is the charm of this series that makes us feel such a mysterious sensation.

And the creator, artist Kotaro Sakazume, had this to say about his own work.

The virtual potter's wheel is described as a combination of craft and technology, but the ceramic medium created by the virtual potter's wheel has a richness of expression that can be considered either futuristic or primitive, giving an impression that transcends the boundaries of common sense. Perhaps one of the reasons for this is that Sakazume, who has been familiar with science fiction anime and novels since he was a teenager, was inspired to create these works by a grand fantasy story, "If I could grind a potter's wheel in zero gravity. Is science fiction in ceramics possible?　It would be an exaggeration to say that the artist's question and speculation, "Is science fiction possible in ceramics?

During the exhibition, the "I SEE ALL" limited edition colored vessels will be on display, as well as a large-format photographic work of the vessels on the theme of the gargantuan chair (a fictional black hole from the movie "Interstellar"), which is also the title of the exhibition, to express the artist's vision throughout the entire space.

This work is a ceramic artwork with an image of a katabatic figure, but made into a gem with a soft expression by using unexpected ideas and technology.
