After a year of depression, MARNI presented a collection to inspire us. The bold colors and graphics were reminiscent of street art. Creative director Francesco Risso's intention was clear: to create a collection that would inspire us after a year of depression.
This may be due to the current trend, but perhaps the designer wanted to increase the impact of the design. This season, "Marni" is overflowing with oversized items.
I couldn't help but pick up this striped shirt. If you look closely, you will see that the stripes are woven (!) The color palette of the blue base with black and beige is very distinctive. The color palette of blue, black, and beige has a lot of presence, but when finished, it looks chic. Combined with the oversized pattern that is a Marni staple, it has the potential to be worn as a jacket.
The embroidery placed just above the breast pocket is a subtle accent, which is also nice.
