The 32nd Large Shirts
I know it's too late now, but the clothing sales schedule, can't we do something about it?
Autumn goods have been on display in stores since the end of July. This year in the Kanto region, the rainy season was cold and cool , but from August, as usual, it was extremely hot. If you arrive at a store breathless from body temperature, you may not be inclined to buy a wool sweater or jacket even if they have them on sale.
Now I'd rather buy T-shirts and shorts, but only a few stores sell them. . The sale is already over, and there are still some leftover items in the collection. . Please do something about this schedule that is so far ahead of schedule that it disregards actual demand.
This is the same for the spring items.
Flimsy spring clothes have been lined up since the end of January, when it was extremely cold. No matter how fashionable and skinny you are, you can't wear that. I would freeze to death.
. Well, I can't do anything about it even if I shout about it here. . I'll throw in a stone, or at least a grain of sand.
The exhibition schedule is not the same as this one, and it doesn't matter how far in advance it is.
The timing of the exhibition is different for select and brand-based companies. The select group, which has already purchased the products, will hold the exhibition later than the brand group, which receives orders at the exhibition. This is because brands are manufactured only after receiving orders there.
Select brands hold exhibitions from the end of June to the beginning of July, while brand-name brands, especially those that hold exhibitions and shows overseas, hold their exhibitions around February, since their shows are held in January.
For brands that only deal with domestic customers, it may be March, April, or even May at the latest. Well, it depends on the brand.
We sometimes place orders at trade shows we go to for work, and we are always surprised when something we ordered in February arrives six months later via cash on delivery. It is also a common story that the customer cannot understand why they ordered it half a year ago. The mood changes when there is a time lag.
It's rather easier to choose from a select group with relatively little time difference. I'm not shopping around, but I tend to look at samples in terms of what I might get this season. It's a personal view.
In that sense, the Beams exhibition in June was interesting. . I mean, I haven't been to any other selective exhibitions, so I can't compare them. Sorry, other stores . . I will go next time.
SSZ," which is run by Mr. Kato, is especially interesting to look at. It is not about wanting to wear or wanting to buy something, but rather about having fun.
The Kuruma Torajiro series, projects that transcend the boundaries of clothing stores, and zines that are filled with enthusiasm are unique and distinctive in their approach. Unique in the English sense of the word, meaning unique or non-existent.
In addition to this, what caught my attention was the big size striped shirt that Mr. Kato and the other Beams members were wearing.
It was made with stylist Hasegawa at "SSZ" and was already sold out at that point. I was told later that there was a line of people waiting in line at the time of the sale, so those who are having trouble selling their clothes should take a look at this as a reference.
Yes, I didn't get one myself in the end .
. but I have that image in my mind's eye, so I'm looking for a slightly larger striped shirt right now. . but I can't wear it yet because the temperature is about 36 degrees.
